TGP Brasil transports vital mining equipment from China to Brazil
The team expertly choreographed the challenging which involved, most notably, a 110-metre furnace and an 802-ton dryer.
The TGP Brasil team got creative to work around any issues, including a lack of local infrastructure.
This resulted in the team moving the cargo down the Araguaia River on specially configured barges and establishing their own jetty – a feat that had never been attempted on the river before.
Our innovative approach proved to be a massive success, which culminated in TGP being shortlisted for Project of the Year at last year’s The Heavy Lift Awards 2023.
