Fragile, high-value modules moved to Nigeria
Trans Global Projects Nigeria has been awarded the shipment of high-value data centre modules and decks for the second phase of West Africa’s largest and most advanced Tier III Data Centre. The modules were shipped from the manufacturer’s facility in the UK to the job site in Lagos, Nigeria.
The relatively fragile modules, each measuring 15.50m(L) x 4.50m(W) x 4.14m(H), required extreme care and attention during their door-to-door, multimodal delivery from Europe to West Africa.
The award follows the successful shipment by TGP Nigeria in February 2013 of similar modules for the first phase of the construction project.
