TGP has enjoyed considerable success over many years in providing logistics services to oil & gas and conventional power generation projects in Azerbaijan.  The recent award of a significant contract to manage and execute transportation of three large wind turbines from China to the Qobustan region of Azerbaijan (100km NW of Baku) has served to cement the company’s reputation as one of the principle project logistics operators in the oil-rich state.

The Qobustan wind turbines project is one of several wind power projects already executed by TGP during 2011. The successful management of these movements has effectively diversified and extended TGP’s experience into the Renewable Energy sector in the Caspian area, with the prospect of much more activity in this field for TGP Baku to come.
