Trans Global Projects Limited has recently helped finance the construction of a mine-free children’s playground in Nagorny Karabakh, which is situated in the west of Azerbaijan. As well as neighbouring regions, this was a conflict zone until a cease-fire in May 1994 and, even today, these areas are still unsafe due to mines and other unexploded ordinance.

The Red Crescent Society of Azerbaijan has been implementing a community-based project known as the ‘Safe Play Area’ project across 47 village communities in areas of the country which were former conflict zones. TGP is proud to count itself a close partner of this initiative along with the German Red Cross, Norwegian Red Cross, International Children's Red Cross, International Olympic Committee, HOMS (Heads Of Mission’s Spouses) and the Norwegian Embassy in Azerbaijan.

In addition to the above, positive contributions to the social well-being of the communities in which TGP operates in Azerbaijan have included providing free transportation for the construction of an ice skating complex and the entire refurbishment of a kindergarten complete with toys, reading/writing material and direct financial support.
