TGP's experience in passenger aviation services arose in the early 1990’s in the Caspian Sea region. It was born out of the absence at the time of any existing direct aviation links to the newly prospective area as western oil companies moved in to explore for oil.

Specifically, TGP's experience began when the company started operating direct charter flights using modern western aircraft between Amsterdam and Turkmenbashi in Turkmenistan. These flights were provided by TGP for an oil operating company to cater for the travel requirements of its oilfield personnel working on rotation in Turkmenistan.

TGP continued to gain experience in short-term scheduled and ad hoc passenger flights in association with various oilfield and mining projects in Central Asia and Africa, which culminated in 2001 with the commencement of the only direct weekly scheduled passenger service between Europe and Western Kazakhstan that ran continuously until March 2009.

Needless to say, TGP's flight operations have successfully passed safety audits undertaken by the aviation departments of some of the world’s largest mineral extraction companies and the company continues to develop passenger aviation opportunities in Central Asia and Africa for this industry in general.

In recent years an additional service has been developed, in that TGP’s exceptional expertise in passenger aviation operations in remote areas has led to a steady demand from interested clients for the company to undertake highly technical aviation-based studies, including advising on airfield construction projects.
