Trans Global Projects started as an idea in late 1987 that soon became incorporated as a business in the UK on 4th January 1988. The ideals on which the company was founded were for it to be a successful project freight management provider dedicated to serving the world’s oil & gas, metals & mining, power generation and petrochemical industries.

Today the business enjoys global recognition as a world leader in project logistics management serving multi-national corporations active in those industries.

At its foundation, Trans Global Projects was a subsidiary company of the Trans Global Group, one of the UK’s largest independent multimodal transportation organisations.

Over two decades under the group's majority ownership, TGP grew its customer base and its network of international offices across five continents. It developed robust operating procedures and created its own powerful tracking and reporting system, called Global Track. The company also developed a range of services closely and strategically linked to its core business of project freight management.

Above all, TGP assembled its own greatest asset; its people – a large team of loyal, experienced and dedicated professionals committed to supporting the company’s customers worldwide.

In 2007, Trans Global Projects progressed into a logical new phase when the minority shareholder, Breezeline – present as an investor since foundation and itself owned by members of the senior management team – acquired full ownership of the company.
