The Association of German Freight Forwarders
and Logistics Operators (Deutscher Speditions-
und Logistikverband e.V. – DSLV)

Founded in 2003 in Bonn, DSLV was the merger of the two most important organisations representing the interests of our industry – the Federal Association of Freight Forwarders (Bundesverband Spedition und Logistik – BSL) with its regional member associations and the Association of German Road Hauliers (Vereinigung Deutscher Kraftwagenspediteure – VKS). DSLV represents about 90% of the freight forwarding and logistics industry in Germany.

Founded in 1992 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates the association was previously named the National Committee of Freight Forwarders (NCFF). It was the Arabian Gulf's first national freight forwarders association and remains the primary body representing the freight forwarding, logistics and shipping industry in the region. The National Customs Brokers and Forwarders of America Association, Inc. (NCBFAA)

Headquartered in Washington, DC, the NCBFAA represents nearly 870 member companies with 100,000 employees in international trade - the nation's leading freight forwarders, customs brokers, ocean transportation intermediaries (OTIs), NVOCCs and air cargo agents, serving more than 250,000 importers and exporters. Established in 1897 in New York, NCBFAA is the effective national voice of the industry. Through its various committees, counsel and representatives, the Association maintains a close watch over legislative and regulatory issues that affect its members. It keeps them informed of these and other related issues through its weekly Monday Morning eBriefing, and various meetings and conferences throughout the year.
